PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION |

| Water from the heat source is distributed over the wet deck surface
by spray nozzeles. Simulaneously, air is induced through the louvers at the bottom of the tower and upward through the wet deck surface, causing a small portion of the water to evaporate. This evaporation removes the heat from the remaining water. The cooled water falls into the basin where it is returned to the heat source |
