Conseller of Health, Castilian Serafín, assured yesterday that they have appeared three new cases of legionella in Alcoy, with which rises to 120 the number of people affected by this disease in this city since the outbreak in September arose from 1999. On the other hand, union sources indicated to Efe that are the six new cases, they based in 123 the number of affected by this disease, and indicated that the person entered the Unit of Intensive Cares of the Virgin Hospital of the Irises of Alcoy is " very serious ". 

In the corridors of Cortes, conseller indicated that, according to the analyses made until the moment, the origin of the outbreak is in the cooling towers, which took to dictate to the last week a resolution in which its closing was ordered, as well as the one of the particular water wells which they supply the towers.
