These kits are 1/16 and so are slightly larger than their Nitto cousins. They are beautifully cast in resin and can be modeled with the suit split open (the suit can split behind the pilot to allow for easier access when mounting the suit).

Brief History
The Space type SAFS suit was developed from the basic SAFS. Although outwardly resembling the earthbound suit, the space type was a completely new armoured suit. The optical sight was not upgraded but supplemented with a search radar and the defensive armour was increased. An EVA pack was installed on the back of the suit to allow it to manoeuvre in space. Other variations from its earthbound cousin include different length shoulder and hip armour plates.
